Privacy Policy

Clean Biz is an iPhone app for short-term-rental hosts and their cleaners, developed and operated by IX Collectives ("we"). This policy explains what the app stores, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking.
What the app stores
- Your account. Your email address, your name, and an optional phone number, plus an account identifier. If you sign in with Apple, Apple gives us an identifier and, if you choose to share them, your name and email.
- A host's data. Listing names, addresses, door codes and arrival notes; the booking calendar links you paste; the bookings and cleaning dates read from them; notes for cleaners; the names, phone numbers and email addresses of cleaners the host adds; restock requests; problem reports.
- A cleaner's data. Name, phone number and email; the jobs assigned to them; what they mark completed; photos and videos they take in the app; restock requests and problem reports they send.
- Location of listings. The address typed for a listing, and the approximate area a listing's public Airbnb page shows. The app does not use your phone's location.
- Device details. A push-notification token, the app's language setting, and the app version, so notifications reach the right phone.
Why
To run the app: to keep a host's phone and their cleaners' phones in step, to send notifications about new bookings, completed cleanings, photos, restock requests and problems, and to place listings on a map. Nothing else.
Who can see it
- Hosts and cleaners you work with. A host's cleaning details for a listing are shared with the cleaner assigned to it; a cleaner's photos, reports and requests go to that host. That is the point of the app. Each side can end the link at any time.
- Service providers. Google Firebase stores account, database and photo data and relays notifications, on servers in the United States. Apple delivers notifications, handles Sign in with Apple, and answers the address lookups behind the map. The app reads the calendars you link, and the public page of an Airbnb listing, from those services directly.
We do not share your information with anyone else, except if the law requires it.
How long
Account and listing data stay while your account exists. Photos and videos are kept for five days, then removed from our servers and from both phones. When a host and a cleaner part ways, the shared details leave the cleaner's phone. Deleting your account removes your account and its data from our servers; you can do this in the app under Menu, Account, Delete Account, or by emailing us.
Security
Data travels encrypted. Access rules on our servers limit each account to its own data and to the hosts or cleaners it is linked with. No system is perfectly secure; keep your sign-in private.
Children
Clean Biz is for working adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can see and change your information in the app, turn notifications on or off in Menu or in iPhone Settings, and delete your account at any time. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email info@ixcollectives.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new effective date.
